Tour Details

Join us in Luxor, Egypt (land programs) to witness the total solar eclipse on August 2, 2027, which will have its greatest duration of totality (6 minutes 23 seconds) from our viewing site. Dr. Patricia Reiff of Rice University in Houston, Texas will be leading this expedition. This rare and remarkable natural phenomenon is not to be missed, as the next eclipse offering this much totality won’t occur until 2114. With an 80% likelihood of clear skies on the day of the eclipse, this region is the perfect location to experience this awe-inspiring event. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this extraordinary moment in history.

We are still perfecting the details of our itineraries.  The information below is our estimated or possible itinerary.  The final version will be available on or before January 1, 2025.

The itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of Eclipse Tours.com or Direct Travel. In particular, viewing the total solar eclipse will be weather dependent, and there is always a chance that passengers will not be able to view totality or view it only for a short period of time. Neither Eclipse Tours.com nor Direct Travel makes any guarantee as to the viewing of the total solar eclipse. Keep in mind that unexpected schedule changes could affect the program. Your Tour Director will keep you fully informed of any changes to planned activities.
